Sasha's Spring Outfit Pattern

This Spring Outfit is one of my favorite patterns and as with all my patterns, can be made up using fat quarters. I wanted an Easter Outfit for Sasha, but didn't want a lot of "fuss" this year with her clothing.
Sasha's Spring Outfit pattern reminds me of my childhood Easter Oufit! I think you can make this outfit up for every holiday or special occasion Sasha has! I have used the border prints which I love to sew with and also pretty florals and geometrics. You actually can make one white jacket and many skirts to match.
Or you can do as I did, and make a jacket to match every skirt!
This is a very fast and simple garment to make for Sasha. The outfit is very easy for even a child to get on and off of the doll. I included shorts since Sasha may need this on the playground under her skirt. The blouse looks sweet in white or to match the skirt and shorts. However you make these, I bet you can't just make one!
The skirt is a simple gathered skirt with a nice wide waistband to add color. You can use fat quarters for all the outfits shown below. (A fat quarter is sold mostly for quilters who do not want to buy the whole yardage of material and is specially cut around 18" x 22" and you can really do alot with that size.)
The little blouse has a facing and the jacket is lined. The pattern includes pieces for the skirt, blouse, jacket, and shorts!
