Crocheted Snood Pattern for Dolls

This snood pattern was adapted from Sylvia Fournier's Snood Pattern. The original pattern called for the use of size 20 crochet cotton, and size 9 steel hook. Below is what I used instead. You may have to vary the size of your needle depending upon how tightly or loosely you crochet.

Thread elastic cord or thin satin ribbon through openings and fit to doll's head (or bun if making smaller snood). The thicker your yarn, the thicker the snood and the smaller the "openwork". To make an adult or child size, repeat rounds 11,12, and 13 till desired size.
